When I wake, I am thankful to be able to see clearly again.  On November 23, 2014, I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.  My retinas hemorrhaged.  As a photographer, I was devastated. My eye doctor told me, my vision may never be restored.  5 months later, I still have some blurry vision in my left eye and in my right I am about 99% back to normal.

Why I tell you this? Each morning, I inch out of bed, and pull back the window shades, and the early sun beams brings joy to me.  I realize I have the best job in the world.  I document love, beauty, uniqueness, memories, and you.
